Earth Day 2024

Join us in celebration of Earth Day in Langley City for our free family-friendly event! Learn, explore, and have fun while participating in educational and environmentally friendly activities and features, including:
- Free secure Bike Valet available on site.
- Upcycle Challenge – bring your finished upcycle product between 9:00 am – 10:00 am to Douglas Spirit Square Stage enter. Winners to be announced at 1:45 pm.
- Foraging for native edible foods in an urban environment with Mrs.Localvore at 12:00 pm.
- Container Gardening workshop at 11:00 am.
- Upcycle Challenge winners will be announced at 1:45 pm.
- Hands-on workshops, garden tours, Earth Day bingo, scavenger hunts, and other kids games will take place throughout the day.
- Free supplies to help keep our neighourhood parks and trails clean with Pitch-In Canada.
- Indigenous plant and seed giveaways, gift card, gardening prizes, and more!
